The Roots, Brixton Academy, 27 November 2004

I don't really know The Roots (I still don't know much about them) but Munhoy likes them and when she asked if I wanted to go I said sure. I'd heard enough about them and it seemed like a good night out. Of course we decided to get pissed at the Goose pub beforehand with James and Dan after being harassed by about 10 million weirdos. So we got pissed (£1.50 for a double and a mixer so who wouldn't?). We staggered to the Academy and we must have missed about 2 or 3 songs but we still had a good time for the rest of it. It was awesome and as far as we know, no one got shot.
